local people

You may have wondered where your food comes from, but have you ever wondered whom it comes from? Countless faceless logos entice us to consume food that was probably sowed and harvested by a machine, fed with oil, and transported half way around the world. It is even possible human hands have never touched your food. But that is what founded this country and what can make it strong again, the relationships we have with one another and to products we make and consume daily.

At Local Harvest Foods, we put the face back on what we eat because we believe relationships are a critical part of our food. For the first time in a long time, it is now possible to know who grew it and/or made it. What an amazing improvement!

If you agree, or just want to learn more about relationfull food, we invite you to join those who won’t settle for less, who want to know the people who produce what we eat. Read below about the people who work hard to bring you fresh, sustainably grown, local food.

Chuck and Patty Price, Mesa Park Vineyard

Patty and Chuck price bought the Mesa Park vineyard in search of the good life. What they’ve created is great wine. Their daughter Brooke and her husband Brad are learning the ropes to grow and harvest grapes, and make four delicious varieties of red wine.
